As we say good-bye and God’s speed to Rev. Andrea and her family, we now have work to do here to keep things going to prepare for our next steps in our journey at St. David’s. The vestry and I will keep you informed as we move forward with our plans.
Many have asked why we did not have our farewell service here at the church, unfortunately we can not have any gatherings here until we submit a reopening plan to the Diocese and the state. As you can probably imagine in these crazy times that it is not an easy task, due to the many regulations we will have to follow but, please know that the Reopening Team is working on this and will hopefully have something to submit at the appropriate time.
I am, along with the vestry and the Diocese beginning to look into how we will have clergy coverage until there can be a more long term arrangement for us while we determine what our next steps will be for St David’s.
Thanks so much to those of you who answered our questionnaire. This was a big help in knowing how our parishioners are feeling about the reopening process and it’s pros and cons.The team will be going over your replies and that will help us as we move forward with our discussion on how to decide what will be best for St. David’s.
