Grannies’ Attic Returns to St. David’s on June 19

One of St. David’s on-the-Hill’s most popular events, Grannies’ Attic indoor yard sale, returns this Saturday, June 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Every year, our Grannies and a team of volunteers contribute to every part of the effort, from sorting and preparing items for sale; to staffing the sales table; to counting up the sales; to cleaning the space; to bringing any leftover items to Saver’s.

Part fundraiser, part yard sale, Grannies’ Attic is also a ministry of St. David’s, offering gently used clothing and housewares to those who may not otherwise be able to afford them.

You may leave items for the sale on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Please leave your items in the Upper Hall near the kitchen door. Please do not leave items outside unattended.

We’re also seeking volunteers to serve as door monitors, check-out persons, monitors for the display tables, money counters, and relief for helpers. You do not have to commit to the whole day. We also will need help with clean-up on Saturday after 2 p.m. and possibly on Sunday morning to reset the room. All items that are not sold are taken to Savers or your choice of drop-off point.

If you are able to become part of this parish wide event, please contact Evie Bain by email at eviebain77@gmail.com or call Kathy in the church office at (401) 942-4368.
